Juggler

It's been exactly three months this blog is not updated.. I'm sorry that I have disappointing you every time you come to this blog in hopes of looking at new designs. Currently I have lots in my hands to juggle, work, studies and assignments. So updates and new designs will not be a common sight here from now on. :(

(Unless it's school hols and semester break!) :D

I also apologize for delayed replies to your emails.. you are not forgotten. I'm just.. slow.

I am also rather annoyed at the spam I've been getting on my chatterbox.. no matter how much I delete and block them, they keep coming back. Sigh.

I hope my dear customers are doing well ya. Rest assured, this blog is not closing. :D

True Blue

These were made for two sweet guys who wanted to give to their prom dates-to-be (I think). They requested to have hearts included in the necklaces.

First up, N37 True Blue.

Used my precious special heliotrope Swarovski crystal heart. :)

***

Next, N38 Lavender. The purple wasn't supposed to be blackish. :s Photo-editing gone wrong.

Used my special precious violet Swarovski crystal heart. :)

Another Versatile Necklace

Same concept as Spring Garden necklace, but with a different theme. :)

N36 Lush Garden

Glass pearls, garden-themed charms (L-R: butterfly, leaf, dragonfly, lily, swirly butterfly), gunmetal lobster clasps and gunmetal chain links.

This necklace drapes on the collarbone, like a relaxed choker.

Versatile Necklace

Now, this necklace is versatile. Watch. Notice the detachable charms.

First, you can wear them with the charms.

You can also wear it without the charms for a simpler look.

Maybe wearing all five charms is too much and wearing none is too plain. How about removing all five and choosing one favourite of the five to be the pendant of the necklace?

Ta-da! Three different styles with one necklace.

What do you do with the detached charms, you ask?

Well, how about a zipper charm for a start? :) And you have FIVE different zippers to adorn! Aside from zippers, you can attach to your bunch of keys as a peekaboo keychain (because they're tiny). The possibilities are endless. :)

N35 Spring Garden

Five different and unique bird charms (L-R: hummingbird, dove, swallow, swan and um, bird), gunmetal lobster clasps, glass pearls, crackled glass beads and gunmetal chain links.

This necklace drapes on the collarbone, like a relaxed choker.

Atmosphere

Adorn your wrist with the colours of a clear blue sky marked with fluffy white clouds, where the birds begin to dance in the sunshine and the wind. The graceful swallow charm completes the overall look.

I have also 'hidden' two tiny birds among the beads. Have fun finding them when the bracelet is 'round your wrist! :)

B104 Atmosphere

Various glass pearls, crackled glass beads, filigree balls, faceted round glass beads, faceted teardrop glass beads and millefiori chips with two tiny bird charms and a swallow charm on rhodium-plated chain links.

Length: 18cm

Crabbers

Suddenly thought of my late pet hermit crab, Crabbers. He was a beautiful shade of purple. I used to ask for sand from my friends who went to islands or beaches for vacations so that Crabbers could dig into it in its own crabitat with its other friends (I had 4 or 5 other crabs).

I used to bring it to classes too, when I was in college! What was I thinking. -__- Those were the crazy days. Now that I'm *ahem* older, I'm getting more sensible. *grins*

Crabbers, posing for the camera on my couch.

Rainbow Blooms

Made of purely millefiori glass beads on various shapes, this will brighten up for handbag as a bag charm. I'd say it's also suitable to accompany your bunch of keys because of its petite length. Cheerful colours on your keys can also shoo morning blues away as you lock your doors and head to work or classes. :)

Works well as belt charm too!

Millefiori glass always amazes me with many detailed miniature flowers, and I often wonder how these flowers are fused together, where were these beads made and who are the people who made them.

M17 Rainbow Blooms

Millefiori glass beads in different shapes - sphere, flat oval, coin, punctuated by a heart-shaped millefiori. All attached to rhodium-plated chain and a huge lobster clasp.

Length: 9cm

Pearl Bracelet

In the midst of eyebrow-shaping and rummaging through my bead collection two Sundays ago, a girl among the girls was adamant in making a bracelet. Under the "fierce" guidance of two beaders (one of them being me), a sweet pastel pearly bracelet was born.

It is refreshing to see a bracelet so simple being created in my home.. I've been creating very vivid and detailed pieces that it felt as though I was looking at something new - at this pastel beauty.

My dear friend named it after her younger sister, Christin.

Carved Bone

These were made for my colleague, Carol, who likes to wear earrings.

Me: Happy birthday! These are for you.
Carol: Thank you!
Me: They're made of bone.
Carol: *look of worry forming on her face* What bone?
Me: Cow bone.
Carol: *look of relief swept over her* Thank God it's not human bone!

So, rest assured, it's not human bone! I'm not one who practises voodoo ok. :p

E163 Carved Bone

Carved cow bone beads with brass filigree bead caps and spacer beads on brass french ear hooks. Diameter of carved beads measures 12mm.

Blessed

A book given by my former colleague and friend, June. I like what she wrote for me. :)

This is a post to celebrate people who have supported me ever since I have started this business - friends who care, friends who bought beading magazines for me, friends whom I can talk about beading with all its slang and terminology (and also friends who got lost in all those jargons), friends who have helped me deliver goods to customers, friends who give constructive comments and criticism about my designs and business, and friends and dear customers who visit this site.

This means YOU when you read this. ALL of you.

I couldn't have done it without all of you.

And I couldn't have done it without God as well. :)

Cluster of Flowers

An idea popped into my mind to make a ring with loads of flowers, and I got to work right away last night. Initially it didn't turn out the way I wanted (I wanted it to be packed so the flowers don't flop over) and then I realized, they weren't floppy after all when I tried on the ring! My finger somewhat gave less space for beads to droop downwards and forced the beads to face up front instead!

Tada, R4 Sky Bouquet is born. I called it sky bouquet because of its sky hues - blue skies and white clouds.. you get the idea. :)

Brownblue Cuff

Hello! Here's a cuff I made last month.. I'd say it's one of the more difficult projects. I'm happy with the outcome as the colours blue and brown harmonize beautifully, bringing to mind the heavens and earth.

I don't think I'm selling this piece.. yet. :p unless you really like it then I'll remake.

Bronze-coloured aluminium wire, seed beads, assorted glass beads in various shapes, dragonskin turquoise chips, goldstone chips, howlite chips, Swarovski crystals.
