Wire-wrapped

My aunt bought these beads from Chiangmai. They are semi-precious stones.. but I'm not sure of their exact name.

B70 Pili
Orange semi-precious stones wrapped with bronze copper wire.
Going for RM25 each! :) (2 sold)

It's a new skill I recently learnt - wire-wrapping beads. :) Can't wait to get my hands on other beads to wrap!

Markus Ng (1985-2009)

Every morning I wake up, before I get to work, I always saw your name on busy mode on Gtalk. You're like, the only person who is not idle there. I always noticed your nick and I enjoyed reading them, no matter what it was about.

This morning, you were idle. Little did I know I won't ever see you in Gtalk anymore.

Markus, My greatest regret is that I never got to know you better before you left this place. I will always keep fond memories of you in my heart.. the brief chats we had on Gtalk amidst our busy schedules, the way you voluntarily rushed to the stage to play for Sunday school worship without being asked to, the way you were so fascinated with little Nate when he showed interest in music, and whole lot of precious memories of you that I will keep ever so dearly.

I'm sure you have impacted the lives of those who know you. I myself, have been impacted too. Colin couldn't have said it any better in his Facebook status: Like a comet blazing across the evening sky, gone too soon... like a rainbow fading in a twinkling of an eye, gone too soon.

You could've made a wonderful teacher, but I guess God has other plans..

You are greatly missed. Thank you for being my friend. Till we meet again..
